The Indian Railway Catering And Tourism Corporation Limited also popularly known as IRCTC is proud to be one of the most dynamic Public Sector Undertakings of the country and a customer centric organization, is the life line of the nation whether it is for movement of passenger or for goods. Tourism will be one of the frontline activities with the railways and the scope will be increased by focusing on domestic and international tourists and by making value- addition to tourism products, especially designed for this segment. The Railways will offer Luxury Tourist Trains, Semi- Luxury Tourist Trains, Buddhist Special Train, Bharat Darshan Trains and Astha Circuit Trains, to attract domestic and international tourists. It will also offer State Tirth Trains, Flexi-package Tourist Trains, Ordinary Tourist Trains, Hill Tourist Trains, Steam Tourist Trains, Value-added Tour package and a Foreign Tourist Quota.

There have been a couple of doubts by people that booking train tickets from overseas is now possible or not?  It’s possible now, foreigners and NRIs can approach our offices to book train tickets for domestic travel in India from abroad and the tickets will be issued through our offices.
